Sexualized violence is an abuse of power and control. Whether it is child sexual abuse or adult sexual assault, it robs the victim of his/her right to choose what happens to his/her body. When a person’s sexual integrity has been violated, it often brings feelings of guilt and shame which leave the person feeling very much alone. In our Seeds of Healing Program, we provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment, where the survivor can regain a sense of control and dignity, and can begin to reconnect with self and others.

Through our Seeds of Healing Program, we offer free-of-charge counselling to women and men, youth and children, who have survived any form of sexual trauma, whether recent or historical, and whether or not a police report of the incident has been made. As well, we provide information and support to partners, non-offending family members, and other members of a survivor’s support system.
