As the mission statement is to work towards the prevention of sexual assault and sexual abuse, the Centre is focused on providing a public education program that deals with various issues affecting youth. These topics include how to be safe on the internet, healthy sexuality, understanding boundaries (physical and emotional), and healthy relationships.

There are two components of SAFFRON's Making Connections Public Education Program: School Presentations and Community Presentations.

School Presentations are currently available for students in elementary, junior high and senior high, which are usually booked directly through the schools.

Community Presentations are designed for adults, community members and professionals.

All presentations offered may be tailored to the specific needs of the school, group, or organization requesting the presentation
