I'm very pleased to invite you to SAFFRON Centre's latest movie production premiere of 'It's Just a Game...Or is it?" Our movie release event is on February 5, 2010 at Sherwood Park Alliance Church at 7 pm. We are very excited about this latest collaboration with Bill Roberts - Celtic Raine Productions and our Centre and our wonderful group of local actors.
As the movie is locally produced with local talent and was filmed at various locations throughout Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan we are proud of our community who supported this production including: Strathcona RCMP, Sherwood Park EMS, Salisbury Greenhouse, Cafe Haven, Strathcona County Library and A+ Video. We are also grateful to the Sherwood Park Alliance Church and the Strathcona Christian Academy for allowing us to use their location for filming and hosting our premiere event.
We are also very pleased to have 'The Plain Janes' performing at our opening event. The Plain Janes will be playing their hit 'Make You Believe,' from the our movie.
The cast is excited to speak to the audience after the movie and as the themes in this movie are issues that impact youth on a daily basis, it is very relevant to have the cast members share their experience of working on this production.
